Winton 2.2m Hydraulic Side-Shift Flail Mower WHF220
This mower is fitted with heavier hammer flails and a gearbox for tougher grass and weed control. Therefore, this flail can be used when grass and weeds are at a more manageable length to give a fine grass finish for lawns or sports fields when used regularly. Several hammer-style blades are mounted to the cylindrical rotor in a spiral layout. This action is most efficient and creates finer cuttings. It is also better suited to uneven ground types than conventional rotary and topper mowers. The mower is also belt driven, there are 3 drive belts that give power to the blade rotor shaft.
This machine benefits from an adjustable rear roller, which can then be adjusted up or down along with the tractor top link arm to change the finish and cutting height. The rear roller helps to avoid blade scalping on uneven areas. The mower also benefits from 2 height-adjustable skids to adjust the cutting height. It also helps to avoid the mower scalping and leaves an even cut when mowing.
The Winton 2.2m Hydraulic Side-Shift Flail Mower can be attached to the 3-point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors.
